Subject matter and scope

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the website www.hotelalcide.com and the booking services offered by Hotel Alcide, located at Viale Guglielmo Marconi 67/A, 53036 Poggibonsi (SI), Italy. By accessing the site or making a booking, the user fully accepts the conditions described herein. If you do not accept these conditions, please do not use the site.

Services offered

The site allows users to obtain information about hotel services, send availability requests or quotes, and where applicable, make online bookings via dedicated platforms. Bookings may be managed directly by Hotel Alcide or through external technical partners (e.g. Booking Engine or Channel Manager), who process data exclusively on behalf of the hotel and in compliance with the GDPR.

Booking process

Users may submit availability requests or bookings through the form on the site or via the booking engine (VerticalBooking). All bookings will be confirmed by email to the address provided by the user. A booking is considered valid only upon receipt of the official confirmation from the hotel. Any special requests (e.g. connecting rooms, extra beds, dietary requirements) must be communicated in advance and will be fulfilled subject to availability.

Rates and payments

Rates published on the site are expressed in Euros (€) and include VAT unless otherwise stated. All payments are made in accordance with the conditions indicated during the booking process. Hotel Alcide reserves the right to modify rates at any time; however, already confirmed bookings will not be subject to price changes. Payment may be required in advance or at check-in, depending on the rate type selected (e.g. flexible or non-refundable).

Cancellation policy and no-show

Cancellation and refund conditions are specified during the booking process and in the confirmation email. In the event of a no-show or cancellation beyond the stated deadlines, the full amount of the stay or a penalty equal to that indicated in the chosen rate may be charged.

Check-in and check-out

Check-in is generally from 14:00, while check-out must be completed by 11:00, unless otherwise agreed with reception. Early arrivals or late departures are subject to availability and may incur an additional charge.

User responsibilities

The user is required to provide truthful and up-to-date information at the time of booking. Use of the site for fraudulent, harmful or unlawful purposes is prohibited. Hotel Alcide shall not be held responsible for damages arising from improper use of the site or from temporary service interruptions.

Intellectual property

All content on the site (texts, images, logo, design, source code) is the exclusive property of Hotel Alcide or the respective authors and is protected by copyright law. Unauthorised reproduction, modification or distribution of content, even partial, is prohibited.

Limitation of liability

While ensuring maximum accuracy of published information, Hotel Alcide assumes no responsibility for errors, omissions or interruptions of services provided by third parties (e.g. booking providers, payment processors or external services).

Personal data processing

The processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with the Privacy Policy available on the site, drawn up pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).

Applicable law and jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Italian law. For any dispute relating to their interpretation or execution, the Court of Siena shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
