From 28 February to 8 March 2026, Siena becomes the European capital of sport. This programme lists all events day by day, with times, venues and useful links.

Saturday 28 February
Expo Ultramarathon
Sports group displays, sponsor stands and sports products.
Ultramarathon bib collection
Collection of race numbers and goodie bags for the Ultramarathon.
Official opening ceremony
Programme presentation and institutional greetings. DJ set by Dino Brown – "The history of dance".

Sunday 1 March
Start 50 km
Competitive race start, 50 km route.
Start 32 km
Competitive race start, 32 km route.
Start 18 km
Competitive and non-competitive start, 18 km route.
Urban trekking – Via Francigena
Non-competitive 6 km walk along the Via Francigena.
Ultramarathon prize ceremony
Podium ceremony and awards for race winners.

School visits with FCI Tuscany regional committee, ASD Pedale Senese and local police.

Skateboard ramp dedication
Ceremony naming the Acquacalda skateboard rink after Bruno Bianciardi.
Ciclogustando opening
Institutional greetings, local food tastings, and live music by "Cane Vecchio Sa-und". Free entry while seats last.

Memorial stone for Tadej Pogačar
Commemorative stone laying ceremony with Tadej Pogačar in attendance.
